WM Architects is an integrated architecture and design firm, whose work includes projects in the realm of architecture, interior design and landscape design.
Founded by Wissam Maroun, the studio is based in Gemmayzeh, in the heart of Beirut. It is a place of discovery and exploration, where we experiment with materials, play with light and let our ideas unfold within our vibrant and dynamic environment.
We believe in design democracy. It is for us the result of a blended process that brings together functional needs, ambiance preferences and personal taste in order for every client to feel in harmony within their space.
While every project has its own identity and environment, we truly believe that each project starts with a detail, no matter how complex it is. And it is the expansion of that detail and its explosion in larger objects, forms, and shapes that molds and creates the final design.

Wissam Maroun
Wissam Maroun holds a Master’s Degree from l’Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts.
After having gained considerable site experience and having extensively worked closely with general contractors, artisans, and consultants, he founded WM Architects in 2012.
Born in Beirut, Wissam has always been driven by the city’s energy, culture and contrasts. His approach to design is deeply inspired by his surroundings, from ancient pieces to modern architecture. He aspires to bring into his work his sensitivity to pure and simple lines, his refined use of materials, while using his passion and objective into making each project one of a kind.
